KALI consider you a resident if you work and have a lease in the state. Renting a mooring can be considered a residence.

When I moved to KALI for a year, I got rid of my long gun, and only kept cali legal pistols. I was able to go to the range every week, and never had a question from anybody.
I was told 6 months. With that came the opportunity to be considered a part time resident, giving us the potential to obtain CCW permits. The county we stayed and surrounding ones were gun friendly, CCW issue Sheriffs.

The dogs thought they were in Disneyland. OPEN SPACE, NO FENCES, RABBITS, Ground Squirrels, OH YEAH!
