You have a picture by chance? I'm thinking about saving up for an AUG cqc. Thanks

Here's a guy selling a NATO stock for a good price, well not sure if it's a relist or not, but they aren't hard to find either way: https://bullpupforum.com/index.php?topic=7413.0

OK saww the picture and I'm hooked. How did the barrel grip comes out and does it take away the quick barrel change capabilities? Just wondering.

Still has a QC barrel, you just have to take off the CQC rail forend first. Which is pretty easy as well.

The reason I went with the CQC specifically is because I can grip it with a C-clamp thumb over bore grip, the same as I do on my ARs. When I'm in the act of shooting, nothing feels radically different since I'm not forced to grip the OEM gangster grip like one of the Die Hard villains.

That one is currently sporting an 18" barrel and Ratworx thread adapter, which allows the 1/2x28 threads to clear the CQC rails, which then allows me to mount a regular Surefire muzzle brake and my can. Fun times!

Interesting...so did you buy it the way it is of have the rail installed? Plus the thread is not standard ar thread? Probably won't have a suppressor anytime soon so clearance might not be a problem for me.

I bought it as a complete CQC AUG, so all of that was already on there. Got a deal on it on the ar15.com classifieds.

You can buy them direct from PJ or have him install the CQC kit on an already-owned AUG.

The AUG's regular barrel threading is something weird like 13x1LH, hence the need for the adapter.

Just know ahead of time that the CQC by default comes with a 16" barrel with an extended flash hider so that it clears the rails. Not a problem for regular use, but in my case, I needed that 18" barrel to get it far out enough to suppress.

Here's PJ's site, he's basically the AUG guy for the US: http://www.pjs-steyraug.com/

    Nice setup.

What light mount is that? I got a CQC from PJ as well but had to mount my light on the left. where did you mount the switch tape?

Thanks for the suppressor info. how does the Aug fire suppressed? are you changing the gas port switch? what setting?
