Went there maybe thrice.... Wasn't impressed. Not as bad as that place that was on Broadway and Hampden.... Even after I bought a rifle the old guy never once said hello.... Even if I was the only one there....

I drive by gunsmoke usually a few times a day... I think they still do ccw classes.... Occasionally. Went in once... They at least said hello.

OD is not really closing. They are moving out of town to another location under a new name.

Seems an odd choice to sell everything off at auction then. Do they plan to stay in-state?
OD has been such an weird story from day 1.

All two of 'em. I really don't know what's keeping those doors open.

At this point, it's just simple friction.

I'm sure I've told this anecdote before, but the last time I went in there (2012), I was looking to buy an upper in-town. Figured I'd humor them. When I asked the guy who had ignored me when I came in if they carried any uppers on hand, he looked at me like I'd asked him to donate to the Brady Campaign or something. After a condescending, "No," he added that they could order one.

Glad I never wasted my time by going in there. Kind of like Gunsmoke. Won't catch me in there unless I feel the dying urge to drop a deuce on the showroom floor. That place on Broadway (High Plains Arms) was a joke too. Went in there twice and regretted it both times. I'll do my business with Ark Tactical or Rapid Fire Bunker. Good people who value their customers.

So...for OD Green & High Plains Arms:

The character of a man can be judged by how he treats those who can do nothing for him
