    Some may not find this cool or amazing, but I constructed this backlight for my TV. It uses a Raspberry Pi with hyperion loaded, along with a HDMI splitter (2 in my case) and a capture card. The Pi looks at the hdmi feed, grabs the edges and sends it to a addressable LED strip.

    Special thanks to Izzy for making this possible.

    And please ignore the fact that my TV decided to torch a backlight LED the day I finally hung it on the wall. Parts on the way.

    Were you watching Farmaggedon 1 or 2? Personally I liked the books better.

    It was a youtube video called Transient 2. Good test for thr lights.
