I own a couple Taurus hand guns. They are all good to go in my opinion.

I got my dad one of the RIA 1911s for a birthday one year (didn't have a ton of cash to spend). His model has one of the best 1911 triggers that I have felt on a plain jane model, MUCH better trigger than my R1 or my mil-spec. (The R1 trigger was abysmal for a 1911).
