I finally got to pick up my new Silencerco Saker762 this afternoon. Very excited to get it out to the range. I can't complain too much about the wait time. My form 4 went pending on 9/22/14 and it was approved on 1/28/15.

Sweet! Congrats! I'm still waiting on my form 1 (should be any day now) and have a form 4 processing too. This is like waiting for Christmas as a kid.

While I'm not Drew, I picked up my Saker 7.62 around the same time, so I'll make a few comments.

*It's not the quietest can, and its not the lightest, but it may be the toughest.
*I liked it enough that I bought a Saker 556K, Octane HD 9mm, and just ordered a Harvester from Ark Tactical.
*I have only run it on an AR15 with an AAC 8" 300BLK upper.
*I haven't tested accuracy, POI shift, or POI shift repeatability, but it's "minute of man" in self-defense ranges, so that's repeatable enough for my purposes.
*I'm very happy with the Trifecta flash hider on the 300BLK, but if it can dim the flamethrower that is my 10.5" Sig556 SBR, then I will be utterly impressed.

As far is "silencing", the lady friend tells me that, from 20m away, it's about as loud as her Matthew's compound bow to her ear. That's pretty darn quiet. Is it as quiet as a MP5SD? I dunno, someone will need to let me shoot theirs so I can find out. :-D. My main requirements are durability and to be able to use my SBR in a home defense situation without making my ears bleed, the lady's ears bleed, or our pet's ear bleed. The Saker 7.62 exceeds those requirements. Supers will still ring my ears, but I'm not going to feel like I just sat in front of the loudspeakers turned up to 11 at a Spinal Tap concert. I haven't yet tried it on one of my 5.56 carbines.

It's a f'n tank... like an M1A2 on steroids tank. I don't think I could afford to shoot it out, and I'm well compensated for my genius. However, if I managed to shoot it out, I have no doubt that SiCo will fix it. In fact, if you can afford to shoot this motor scooter out, then I'll just assume the taxpayer is footing the bill. :-) Since this is my "all hell breaks loose" suppressor, durability matters to me more than anything.

The MAAD mounting options kick ass. I have the Trifecta mount, but if you have YHM, 51T, ASR, or want direct thread, there's a mount for you. Surefire mounts are rumored. This means for you folks invested in AAC or YHM mounts, there's no need to replace your existing mounts. So, AAC owners... come to the Dark Side. If you want a direct thread for your OBR... there's a mount for that.

Cons: It's not light... at all. I mentioned it's a tank, right? Tanks are heavy. It's made of Stellite and stainless, but even then, I was somewhat surprised at the heft. To be fair, this was my first suppressor, so I had nothing to compare. Sometimes, removing the Saker from the Trifecta mount is a miserable b*tch due to friction lock--not carbon lock as is often reported--so I only tighten it just enough to not wobble. I've heard this becomes less of a problem over time.

Verdict: I like it. Like all suppressors, it's a compromise, but this one has the appropriate tradeoffs for my purposes. I'd absolutely recommend it as a first non-rimfire rifle suppressor if your priorities are durability, one-handed quick attach/detach, and hearing protection.
