Also if anyone had sources for parts that would be most appreciated. They seem to be around, but your preferred source would be great.

I am doing an 80% frame up build so I will need just about everything.
Most all everything for a regular old 1911 works in a STI 2011 frame. Trigger and mag catch are the main specialized parts.

120mm is not the grip size but the magazine length.

I have several 2011s, they feel better in my hand than single stack 1911s do.

I just picked up my first 2011 and the only difference, IMO, is the grip. I have small hands (medium glove size) yet it I have full, 360* contact with the grip. Hoser hit the nail on the head as far as what's specific to a 2011. I need to find and fit a Short trigger as my finger placement isn't ideal since the grip is more square rather than fat like a Glock. The width is roughly the same as standard thickness 1911 grip panels, but it's the corners that if the 2011 that make it feel larger. Shooters Connection, Dawson Precision and Brazos Custom/1911store.com are good places to start for parts.
If the Odds are equal, you're doing it wrong
