Got a 3 gallon pot of chili (con carne) on the stove. Plan to just ride out the storm with plenty of good eats and liquids.
Might go out and shovel the snow I have now to keep the effort minimal as it accumulates.

Just got back from a hike at White Ranch, I love this stuff.
Still not snowing enough to stick to the ground by my house by southlands. I even went shooting today in Elizabeth and it was fine out there, picked up a bit by the time we were leaving.

Coming down in Evergreen.. Hoping that I am able to get out of the house tomorrow without digging a tunnel..![]()
Crap, i need to drive down to University and Evans tonight. I think it will most likely get cancelled.
Here a paragraph from a KDVR article I thought was stupid.
"A big snowstorm and Coloradans are ready. FOX31 Denver crews caught up with people preparing for the big event and stocking up on essentials before Mother Nature wallops the state."
Coloradans are ready?? Sorry KDVR folks, "stocking up" while pushing someone aside for the last loaf of bread is NOT ready. This type of stuff is actually what scares me the most about the thought of an actual major event happening. People are as far from "ready" as they could possibly be. If that many people aren't prepared for snow in Colorado of all things...yikes.
It's just blowing ice now, started as wet snow but now it's slick as hell out.
It dumped a few inches in about 30 minutes here. The accident tracker's are going nuts.
