The weather is starting to catch up to the forecast now.

Got a 3 gallon pot of chili (con carne) on the stove. Plan to just ride out the storm with plenty of good eats and liquids.

Might go out and shovel the snow I have now to keep the effort minimal as it accumulates.

Here a paragraph from a KDVR article I thought was stupid.

"A big snowstorm and Coloradans are ready. FOX31 Denver crews caught up with people preparing for the big event and stocking up on essentials before Mother Nature wallops the state."

Coloradans are ready?? Sorry KDVR folks, "stocking up" while pushing someone aside for the last loaf of bread is NOT ready. This type of stuff is actually what scares me the most about the thought of an actual major event happening. People are as far from "ready" as they could possibly be. If that many people aren't prepared for snow in Colorado of all things...yikes.
