Ground is finally covered, lightly. The stuff coming down is more freezing rain, not snow. The day's still early.

My wife snagged this one at some grocery store last night.
Someone is having a hell of a milk party this weekend.

If you can't make it through a weekend without an "emergency" trip to the grocery store to "stock up" on milk and bread, you should reexamine your life priorities. (Not directed at any individual here, just an open statement for the people standing in line pushing for the last loaf of bread). Furthermore, 12-18" of snow is NOTHING. Especially on the weekend when it's not during the normal weekday commute. In fact, I have a barber appointment today at 4 right when it's supposed to snow the heaviest. "OMG, he's crazy, he's going out in the storm!" Please pray that I survive the Siberian Express or whatever they are calling this.

Hmmm...my normally 40 minute morning commute took...34 minutes. Maybe having everyone panic so that they stay off the damn roads is a good thing!

It is settled science. We do such an awesome job predicting the weather five days out, why don't you believe the 100 year temperature projections?

The globe is always warming somewhere, so I believe in global warming. After all, Al Gore and Barak Obama have Nobel prizes. They must be geniuses! The last Republican politician to get a Nobel prize is Theodore Roosevelt, so the rest of them must be dumb.

Just about to pull out of Vegas and heading for home. Planning to drive at least as far as Glenwood then will see how things are looking. I have two of my kids in tow so hopefully not as treacherous as they say it could be...

Hell, most of the time the Weather Guessers can't accurately tell us what's happening outside RIGHT NOW...

Heading out to run some errands shortly. Pray for my safety in these horrible conditions.
