Default 1911 Smith Recommendations - Lead Time a Factor

I've got a Delta Elite, and I'd like to have a few minor things done to it. Mostly Novak sights, which would require milling dovetails, and having the frame high-cut. Then more conventional stuff, like a regular single side safety, Ed Brown style beaver tail and hammer. Secondary would be things like a complete dehorn, action job, and possibly flatten and serrate the slide. I was going to send it back to the mothership for this stuff, and didn't balk at the costs, but Colt quoted me a two year lead time, and I am more interested in 6 months. Which also precludes Novak. Anybody got any recommendations for someone who can do quality work in a slightly more expeditious timeframe?

Not real handy for you but if you can wait 'till BP Tactical gets back on his feet, you'll be happy.

No, because I didn't write it down when you told me, and subsequently forgot. You should know how to manage around my limitations by now, man!

I've had Bert do some work for me in the past, and he was my first preference even before Colt, but then I saw his 'sidelined by injury' post.
