They are nice guys and make transfers easy. Prices are good, if you don't think its a good deal just ask as they are super easy to deal with. Happy to have a good store near the house.

They're going to pay a price for that. There is no panic buying on ARs in the retail market. No reason to pay any more for anything than you did last year.

When you see a certain gun store in the very south metro area pimping AR's for $16-1800 on a base model. The market will either keep their doors open or shut them down. Triple J isn't the only place selling for more then on line vendors.

I saw one shop up north of denver selling PSA "Kit Guns (no lower) for $125 over the PSA web site price. They had the complete PSA lowers marked the same. Price gouging or market value?

IMO Gouging is a loose term that could be applied to any shop in the business.

Fair enough- but a brick and mortar store can never compete price wise with the online sellers. You'll almost always pay more for any item at the store as opposed to online. And there is no shortage of any of this stuff right now- so no good reason to increase prices. Prices have not gone up distributor to retailer.

Yeah, I know they were talking about opening a shooting range off county line. Not sure where they stand on that, but haven't heard any update. Was looking at a handgun from them and they wanted to charge me $20 for the CBI. I reminded them the CBI fee is $7 and asked what the additional $13 was for. I was told that is a transfer fee. Needless to say I left without the firearm. They are right up the road from me, but I'll do my buying elsewhere.

When I first went in a number of months ago I was impressed with how friendly they were and felt the prices were in line with what I'd been seeing. Been back a couple of times recently and frankly there's enough other shops equally close or closer that have been getting my hard earned dollars.

*Edit to add that a lot can change in almost a year since I started this thread.**

Helped a kid put together a kit gun from these guys today. Front barrel nut and handguard would not line up for the gas tube. Kid went back this afternoon and they made it all right. New parts and assembled it for him.
