Here is another organization similar to the NRA but for knives and eged tools called knife Rights.

The first link has some misleading info.

Colorado defines a knife as one with over 3.5 in length.

The website is saying: "Furthermore, it is also illegal to carry concealed knives that are three inches or more in Colorado,...."

That is not a true statement.

BTW, can I can a 4" blade clipped in my pocket? The top is clearly visible. Has there been any test cases?

^ The map is wrong on the first page but if you click on Colorado laws it seems correct info.

I thought in Denver the blade had to be 3.5" or under?

These knives are illegal to carry concealed:
All knives less than 3.5 inches are legal.
All fishing and hunting knives of any length are legal.
All knives over 3.5 inches are illegal.

Nice info to know, but who cares? How in the heck could this be enforced? Another example of rediculous, unenforceable laws.

Most fishing & hunting knives are much bigger than 3.5" and of a fixed design. A local LE insisted my Cold Steel 4'' Spike was Illegal. Show me the C.R.S please. Oh mmm well i guess it's not.
Thanks, Now about that speeding ticket?
