The AC was much better than the Up-armored HMMWV's we had.

Yes, there is several models of MRAP's. I've had the uncomfortable pleasure of riding in a few but they can take some abuse. Very top heavy and prone to roll though. So much so they have roll simulators that we had to get spun around in then evac from.

Here is a pic of the one I was in at Ft Riley in 2008. For HMMWV's of course.
