I gather that Jade Helm is a normal training exercise which we have probably seen/heard before. People have a well-founded concern given the nature of the current administration.

My favorite conspiracy theory is that the 5 Walmart stores closing are part of Jade Helm, and they're going to turn them into internment camps or the like.

I'll start my own theory- they do exercises like this and close stores with just enough dates, etc in common that it arouses suspicion- for the effect of bringing out the fringe element that they're looking for.

I still say it is to protect the recovered alien starship. The starships capabilities make nuclear weapons obsolete.
