    Default Holes from your ccw?

I carry aiwb, and yesterday I put a good size hole I'm my shirt. Starting to notice all my t- shirts are getting holes around the same spot. Does this happen to anyone else? I think it is happening because the seatbelt is pushing up against my pistol. Going to tuck my shirt behind my pistol befor I put the seatbelt on and see if it changes anything. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yep, all of my shirts either have small holes or are wearing thin at my kidneys. Think it's from the rear sight.

Mine too, pretty much every shirt I own by now. Just rubbing against the grip and such. It's not your seatbelt... I take mine out in the car and put it in the crack between the seats (you really think you'll be able to access it quickly enough when it's buried under a seatbelt and you're sitting up against the grip?).

If you spend a great deal of time driving, you may want to consider changing your method of carry. Appendix carry or cross-draw would probably alleviate the problem with your shirts.

I have had the same issue with holes forming in shirts off and on depending on activities. On a previous carry gun, I filed the outside edge of the rear sight and it provided a reduction in wear (Looked like crap). I am not a huge fan of shoulder/chest carry, but it works really well in vehicles. I carried with a cross draw for several years when I spent a lot of time in and out of vehicles. I just accept the holes now when I carry frequently.

More than likely the best course of action.

Yep. Most of my shirts (and probably all of my T Shirts) have little holes between 3 & 4 o'clock where the sights of my gun hit. furthermore my office chair and the driver's seats of our cars are all worn where my gun hits them.

I see it as the same thing as holster wear on the slide ... a badge of honor from exercising my right to carry (which I've been doing daily for almost 15 years ... the first few in Kansas before it was legal there).

I carry on the outside of my right ankle. It was too late when I had to scrap a lot of slacks before I noticed the thin spots, then holes. I drive A LOT. Some of my shirts had a hole at my left collarbone, too.
