Stay on that track, and you will do well. Kudos for restraining. It's a habit, and probably not a good one. Definitely not one that's going to add years to your life, to paraphrase Pat Green.

Can't say I have a favorite. Macanudo and Montecristo would be in the running.
The Drew Estates and Lars Tetens brands aren't for everybody, they're flavored and scented with some strange things, and you either like 'em or not. Seems like most folks don't, they're certainly different.

They make the Acid brand, but the Drew Estate ones are generally more subtle and not sugar tipped. I like Acid stuff but wouldn't bring it up in a cigar thread.

Can't afford them anymore. I started on the $4 jobs, quickly went to the $6 to $8 models and then the $12 + boys and bonus time would see some of the $30 + stogies in the humidor. If it was under $9 I ignored it. At any given time I might have $200 to $500 worth of these babies in the cedar box. I smoked various brands, I preferred the more "creamy" and full bodied cigars, no so much the "peppery" ones. I would spend maybe an hour or more in the local humidors making my selections. Can't go back so I don't bother with them anymore.

Do I miss a good cigar? You bet. Just can't go back to the lower end after being on the "higher" end.

I do keep the Whiskey on hand for special occasions.

I don't smoke as much as I used to, but I've found that a Padron Maduro Corona with JW Black makes a nice pairing.

Just had a Cuban Cohiba Robustos and a iced glass of Wild Turkey Honey. Good times.

I picked up some Acid boxes from a head shop. Going to make battery powered guitar amps out of them.
