Well, from what others have said, the cops are being forced to show restraint. They mayor wants the fine citizens to have "space" to destroy and steal other people's stuff. I mean, what's next, an evacuation order for the civilians so the "protesters" can have even more space to destroy? "Dear citizens, we ask that you leave the city because we wouldn't want anyone, including the police, to try and stop the poor protesters from expressing their frustration at your expense."

Who's this "they" and "they're" some of you are talking about? If the scenes from Baltimore surprise any of you...

I know that what I would order in that situation would not be Politically Correct. Libtards would call it cruel and unusual punishment.

Restate a position because 1 mother decided to impart some discipline? I don't think so, that 1 parent doesn't account for the thousands of others who dropped the ball.

Not to mention, her smacking her kid doesn't exactly make up for the 14-18 years of non-parenting that led her kid to that point, anyways. Far from being a hero, that lady is a huge part of the problem.

You don't know that for sure. Sometimes, all the hard effort by one parent is undone by a community/circle of influence that says the opposite.

Fair enough. In that case, her plight is hopeless. She probably can't afford to move her and her kid out of there, she can't control her kid, and there's probably not much hope for her kid educating himself out of that environment.

I believe you're both taking my funny post far too seriously.
