A lot of people have been commenting (not just here) on the pictures of people stealing TP, etc. It may look funny that people are stealing TP but I think it sheds some light on the social situation there. Stealing is NEVER ok, never. But that fact that many of these folks are stealing TP and paper towels instead of big screen TV's might actually show what a bad situation they are in. Now I believe our personal situations are no one's fault but our own, and that's true for them too. But hell, if you have to STEAL TP just so you can wipe your ass each day, you truly are in a bad situation and it's time to make some life changes.
Agreed. The lying Democrat's (but I'm repeating myself) words matched the RoE on the ground to date. She simply got caught being a Dem and the city attorney probably advised her to tailor her speech. It's one thing to quietly support lawlessness, it's another to openly admit you are complicit.

This is consistent with the belief that racial justice demands the law be conditionally enforced. Since LE contacts result in dead black men, the property crimes weren't worth the risk. "Give them room" because #BlackLivesMatter.

The only stores in these areas are the bodegas, liquor stores, and smoke shops. These are the only business that can survive in that environment. Anything that could be taken, was taken and if you watched Fox last night you saw some of these business owners interviewed (they were not happy). I don't think people were looting out of need but opportunity.

One of my takeaways from this situation is that this is happening with...

Generations of Dem leadership
Black President
Black AG
Black Mayor
Majority minority PD
Section 8
SNAP/WIC
Energy assistance
Scholarships/preferential college admissions
Affirmative Action employment
Public education

If there is something else to give, I don't know what else is left. Given our financial situation there is nothing else we can afford. If they want less dead black men, but don't want to discuss accountability for crime, the only solution is to pull LE out of these communities. Would that be justice when even more disproportionate numbers of black Americans are robbed, assaulted, raped, and murdered? I wouldn't want that! Would they feel better if all LE were black too? Well, that's segregation... Are they asking for that?

But worse... Could you imagine the big cities if any of the above are interrupted or eliminated?
