That's the impression I got. Looks like she's trying to use the car to block the road.

The reporter on the street from CNN is asking fairly tough questions and not happy the mayor is side stepping the issue. He's even questioning how one can say they are outside agitators, when the majority of them are local. Good for him, hold their feet to the city's fire.

    Maryland My Maryland

Things have been worse. Whitelock and Mondawmin...haven't been decent neighborhoods since before the 68 riots.

I wonder how warm it will be this summer in the Big Cities of the USA. Most places are one "unarmed" death away from civil unrest.

All I can say is that the cops are showing incredible restraint. I'm not sure I could resist turning it into a live fire exercise.

Well, from what others have said, the cops are being forced to show restraint. They mayor wants the fine citizens to have "space" to destroy and steal other people's stuff. I mean, what's next, an evacuation order for the civilians so the "protesters" can have even more space to destroy? "Dear citizens, we ask that you leave the city because we wouldn't want anyone, including the police, to try and stop the poor protesters from expressing their frustration at your expense."

Yeah. The caption said "on debris" and I was thinking "those are propane cylinders you idiots".

I know that what I would order in that situation would not be Politically Correct. Libtards would call it cruel and unusual punishment.
