I can't understand why anybody would want to be a cop in one of these racially-charged communities, especially a white cop. Sad to say, but you know that if you're in that position, everything you do will be wrong. Too aggressive and they'll call you a racist brute. Not aggressive enough and they'll call you lazy and uncaring. Oh, and racist, of course.
What do most cops in this area make, $45,000 a year? Is it worth all that crap for that kind of pay? If I was a cop in these cities (Ferguson, Baltimore, etc) think I'd be tempted to tell the demonstrators and "activists" that "if you don't like the job we're doing, screw it. We'll quit and YOU can take the job."
I'm seriously waiting for the day when 200 cops walk into the office one day and hand in their resignations and say "sorry about the civil unrest but you know what - Idon't live here, so if the city's not going to back me up, then I'll just go back to my suburban home and YOU can deal with it. Good luck"
Then I'd apply for a job in a nice suburban community where people are glad to have the police around and let the inner city residents who hate the cops so much sink further into the cesspool of their own making.

The riots in Baltimore are not about one guy or even one case, over 100 people have died by the hands of police in Baltimore in the past 4 years. The problem is bigger than any news agency can handle so the public is being mislead and misinformed for what ever agenda they might have. Social reform has been a long time coming in old charm city and many other cities across America. I dont support the use of violence but at times in American history it has been the last resort to be heard by a people who are fed up.
Sorry. Reform in these black communities is one thing. But reform also starts at home. Frankly, there needs to be a mindset change among inner city blacks and that ain't gonna happen as long as liberals are in charge and perpetuate the victim mentality. I don't whitey is responsible for their lot in life in 2015.
And you know what? I no longer care about it. Burn your cities, community centers and local businesses. Hurt yourselves. Do nothing to improve your lot in life. Don't be parents to your children. Fuck you. I don't care anymore.
