HB. Rular CA used to be quite gun friendly. City of Paso Robles in the general area of middle CA used to have ammo and cleaning supplies right in their grocery store. Which shocked me. This was many years ago so might be a little bit changed now.

I'll definitely have to look into that.. I'm about 40 mins from there. Thanks for the heads up. I hope you're still correct about the gun-friendly attitude!

Please we've been over this a few times. While you will be unable to bring your NFA and semi guns that CA has since banned. There are numerous firearms one is allowed to own, minus 11+ round magazines. Turner Outdoors has a bigger selection of semis / AR style rifles than the top 3 in NoCO and probably your area combined.
Regarding gun friendly people call the number i gave you, you'll be dialed in within the week. AND make a few new drinking friends. Most who share some if not all the philosophy you do.

Yep. You don't have to tell me again, Jim. NFA and other regulated items are in a safe place.

Unless Whole Foods starts selling items that contain gluten or MSG, rioting in Boulder is not very likely.

Thing is there's different levels of "Social Unrest".

If we're talking about some riots in "that part of town" well, I'm far enough away from "that part of town" that I'm not worried about it spilling over here ... and if it does then I live in a valley with many other armed people and we can block off our neighborhood much like what was described by another poster happening in New Orleans.

If we're talking about serious wide spread but likely short term and recoverable unrest (like a month or so), then it may be a little tougher but I still think we're pretty safe where we are (and again, my original point was the same as the 3 rules of Real Estate; location, location, location.)

Now if we're talking about full scale TEOTWAWKI, end of western civilization, brave new Mad Max like world ... well honestly I have no intention of surviving in that world. I still want to live in a world where America is America (yeah, that may have already come to an end) we have electricity and internet and indoor plumbing and a basically functioning society. I have no interest in going all Road Warrior or Book of Eli or Damnation Alley here. So if it comes to that I'm euthanizing the pets and then wreaking havoc of the nearest leftists (whom I blame for all this mess) until I get put down. This final possibility seems pretty unlikely to me (especially since such a thing would likely be started by a nuclear war ... which I don't expect anyone in The Springs to survive the first few minutes of).
Mind if I join you in your quest to rid the human race of these parasites?

No one will be ridding anyone of any "parasites."

You need to lighten up Francis, before your roommate "sees something and says something."
