My hypothesis is that Vegas is now some sort of Mecca for the worst of the social media generation from L.A. and Phoenix. I remember thinking that wearing a suit was basically par for the course and being surrounded by people in tank tops and snapback hats at the tables.

I've never really liked the place and I've been there a lot. Years ago ( in my single twenties ) I would go to the Hard Rock to hang out and flirt with girls. The pool was definitely a hot spot. After a while I realized the demographic of people who went there was changing and the only thing that was important was money. The Hard Rock is just as bad as everyplace else now on the strip. It's a city that brings out the worst in people. Greed, lack of impulse control, gluttony....I can't stand any of it. I won't even go to bachelor parties there. Everyone wants it to be "Swingers" or "The hangover" when in truth it's more "Leaving Lost Vegas". I'm my opinion it's just Los Angeles East.
