    Default Taper pin reamer

Hoping maybe Bert sees this and chimes in.

Ordered a 2/0 taper pin reamer and was hoping for some basic tips for using it properly to make it last. I could have ordered one for $9 or $16 but I went with one for $36 hoping it is made a little better

My guess is to just keep it lubed and go slow but I honestly don't know the best way to use it.

Slow, and make sure part and reamer are held tight. May have to step drill if there's to much material

Used the reamer after work today. Worked like a charm but probably took me an hour or more to do the one hole. I was a bit nervous since the material I was working with took me three drill bits before I got the hole drilled. The reamer held up well and still seems super sharp.

Oh, and for the record, whatever Bert charges to do taper pins is probably a super great deal.

I have a good deal of patience and about half way through the process all I could think was "I should have just let Bert do this."

Turned out great doing it myself. Just seemed like a lot of effort to get to the final result. (I was installing a single taper pin into a low profile gas block)
