    Default Great Shrimp Marinade?

Generally, when I bbq shrimp for the wife, I just use a bbq sauce marinade; simple and quick. But, thought I would "spice" it up a bit for her. We do love very spicy foods, so that is something to consider. Just wondering if ya'll have any good ideas.

I sometimes use a lime tequilla marinade for shrimps, (they make a non alcoholic type at the KS, or Safeway), and I add some jalepeno jelly mix em up good sit em in it and BBQ away.

    marinade:

juice a couple limes, add little EVOO, season if you like or not, couple shots of Hornito's, or other, stir well let it mello for awhile, add jelly at the end let come to room temp.

Chopped Garlic, Lemon Juice, lots of butter & a chili powder like chipotle pepper and a little cayenne if you like it hot. Simple, cheap & fast! Mmmm prawns & jumbo never ha it soo good! Try grilling some corn with it as well, leave the husks on them, peel them back to coat them with the same rub as the shrimp (only don't melt the butter). It's good stuff!

either that, or I use franks redhot sauce, a couple shakes of tobasco, butter and garlic and let it soak.
