Eventually it weakens, and the fluids mix, killing the trans.
I have an Altima and a Maxima. I do fix and flips and restorations. Why not just replace the radiator with an aftermarket performance aluminum radiator and be done with it? Seems to me that if you know that the vehicle has a chronic radiator issue, you'd stay away from the factory radiator, but that's just me.

Update, very happy with B's Auto-nice people, fairly priced, work done properly and finished when promised. I need to track down a rebuilt/remanufactured rear wiper motor as it's discontinued from Nissan. Rock Auto looks like they have what I need, anyone dealt with Rock?

Also to note the timing belt was replaced just prior to our purchase of this little beast. It's running great, no drips, got some new tires on it (Big O A/T) and now he's good to go outside of the rear wiper. The fog lights don't work but it looks like the wires cracked and shorted, oh well-not really needed.

I've liked Rock Auto the times I've used them. About half the price of Napa.

You sure it's the motor not wiring?
Rock auto is ok. They have limited stock on some parts so triple verify that it's the right part. On my Suburban they listed a 105 and 140 amp alternator belt. My alternator is 160 amp per the code. So I have a useless to me belt I need to get rid of, not worth to ship back.
