Default Combo search on "wanted" and username

Was just thinking it might be cool to be able to search only the wanted forum by username.
Some guy posts something you want, says he's open to trades but doesn't list anything specific. Search for his name in wanted to see if he posted anything. Maybe there's an easy way to do this already, but I am pretty dumb...

Related - it also got me thinking about whether or not it'd be a good idea to have more posts like chad4000 made the other day in wanted about random things he was potentially looking for. Would be great if you were looking for options with a single member, but on the other hand, it could probably get annoying pretty fast if a whole lot of members start posting similar things like they want a Glock 43 or whatever the latest hotness-of-the week is. Maybe we could encourage the use of blog posts for things like want lists? Assuming anybody even notices the blog posts are there... anyway just thinking out loud...

Some guys always seem to be very good remembering what sort of stuff you're looking for, makes me wonder if they're just that much better at remembering compared to me, or if there was some trick I'm missing.

"Advanced Search" will let you do that

Go to the wanted section, then in the upper right just below the page numbers click search this forum, then click advanced search, then type in the persons name.

In the advanced search settings you can select the forum and search by exact username.

So I told you I was pretty dumb...

I've been using advanced search forever, but I had never even thought to try "search single content type" which funny enough gives me exactly what I was looking for. LOL.

    Thanks guys!
