    Default Pioneer AK

I kind of want one of these but don't know much about them. I like the idea of the hammer forged, chrome lined barrel. I like that the receiver has the magwell dimples, and I actually like that it doesn't have a scope, mount on the side of the receiver.

Anyone know anything about the quality (or lack there of) of these Polish AKs?

Thanks. I actually registered for those forums a day or two ago. I can't use the search function yet because I guess my account hasn't been approved or verified or whatever.

From my understanding Pioneer took Polish parts and just slapped them together. Not really a true Polish build but close.
For the money if its put together well and shoots its a win.

Outside the HF bbl, it's another AK, at a good price point. The poles made / make good AK's , terrible perogie's .

I have seen lots of bad reports on the pioneer ak's. From what I gatherd they took polish kits and cobbled them togather. There have been reports of loose rivets, headspace issues and just plane horrible assembly.

Appears it is just another poorly cobbled together AK. Rumor is it uses a cast bolt carrier.

    Think I'm going to pass.

Thank you all for the links and the advice.
