My name is Brayden I have been involved in the firearms world for the majority of my life. I shot a pistol for the first when I was around age 5-6. This was on a farm in Iowa were my grandfather, and father taught me how to shoot safely. I have been addicted to all kinds of shooting ever since. I started out learning the fundamentals of shooting with a winchester model 12 (.22) by shooting off bench-rest for a substantial amount of time. Later on in my life I shot a 20 gauge break gun for the first time and soon after became interested in skeet and trap. This is where a mentor of mine showed me much of what I now know today in regards to moving targets. For a short while I grew tired of the shotgun sports and became enthralled with long range shooting out to about 500 yards. All of my metallic hand loading and rifle fundamentals really derived from this. Not to long after this phase of my shooting life, my parents suggested that I join a trap league at Centennial State Shooting Club which is now where I am currently employed. Going into the job I thought I new an extensive amount about firearms but was soon proven wrong. I have to say that almost all of my knowledge shooting off hand either with a pistol, or carbine came from the service members whom I work(ed) with. Recently I have been draw to AR-15s and recently completed my first build. I also picked up a g 19 and have been shooting non stop with both platforms. My most recent goal is to learn how to shoot better on the move, and the best ways to transition from different platforms.
