Default PSA on serrated flash light bezzle for those traveling

Just got busted at the Las Vegas airport...TSA guy knew about this light, his manager said i looked worn over and not to do it again...Funny thing is that they didn't look at my uzi pen!

Basically the operator of the xray and manager said they knew what the serrations where for and that they cause a lot of damage to bones... I told him it's the best light for the performance and i thought the serrations for light dispersions when I had to crawl under the floor to work on the damn servers. Now, I travel with this pen everywhere, and they didn't even think about it...

The inconsistencies from airport to airport are amazing. Both DIA and Burbank were fine with the serrated bezel on my light.

hell, i travel with both of these to baltimore all the time...I figured if I could get em through there it'd be smooth sailing anywhere...I guess it all comes down to the agent on the scanner....No offense, but look for females!

Denver blinked at my empty .45 casing, but allowed it through after digging it out to see. Like he said, it varies by person.

I'm kind of surprised that you can get empty .45 case on board. Suppose you have smuggled one of the all plastic digitally printed guns in your carry on. I would think having a casing is the hardest component to get, in order to build a bullet in the restroom.

*my imaginery friend* got a couple of casings into China as a souvenir for my cousin and my SOG flash II folding knife made it in ok, but couldn't make it out, chinese TSA doesn't even allow anything tactical in checked baggage. If not for my U.S. passport, I would be in chinese jail.

Wait just a damn minute... Are you trying to say one or more TSA agents actually exercised common sense? I'm finding this whole story hard to believe.
