PSA on serrated flash light bezzle for those traveling

My $7 flashlight has a more aggressive bezel and I'd be pissed to leave it. Heck, they'd probably be pretty firmly oppossed to the Nebo I got for my wife.

This one has a spring loaded bezel that only retracts on impact.

Is that what those serrations are for? To cause bone damage? And here I thought they were stupid tacticool fashion statements. I'm going to hurt someone a lot more with standard Cross pen than the relatively blunt point on my "tactical" pen (which I look at as more of a glass break than anything else). Maybe I'll just go down to the kitchen gadget store and pick up a pair of stainless steel chopsticks ...
