Default Need help getting a saw into my truck on Sunday

Since this is the "Ask-A-Member: I Need Help With" forum, I live in Windsor and need some help lifting a tablesaw into my truck on Sunday morning, around 8:00ish. The neighbors I really like are too old, and the neighbors who are capable are kind of douchebags. In return, I offer my unending gratitude, coupled with a box of ammo of your choosing amongst 9/45/38/5.56/.308. If you enjoy lifting heavy things, are in the Windsor area, and available Sunday morning, please let me know.

And in related news, I rebuilt a saw. When I moved to Colorado in 2011, the moving company pretty much destroyed my contractor's saw. They piled a bunch of stuff on it with no support under it, both in the truck and in the storage unit. Destroyed the extension tables and bent the case so that the right side of the saw was 2" lower than the left. I got so irritated at the prospect of having to put time and money into it that I didn't touch it for years.

Late last year, I bought the tablesaw of my dreams for way too much money. I was going to give away my old one for scrap, but my wife suggested that I give it to my brother-in-law in Denver. I couldn't give it to him in good conscience in the condition it was in. So ironically enough, I put about $300 worth of hardware, materials, and time into a $350 table saw, that I now need to deliver to him on Sunday. For your viewing pleasure:

The movers did an epic job of smashing things to pieces. I had to replace all three melamine support surfaces.

God, what a lot of pocket holes to drill.

The top had a lot of surface rust, which came off reasonably quickly with some 220 grit sand paper and some WD40 to keep things lubricated. The surface actually shined right up and took a couple coats of paste wax pretty well.

Used carriage bolts as levelling feet on the extension wing and outfeed table.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

First time I got it mocked together for fitting. Getting there.

Even on their lowest settings, all my drills and drivers over-drove the cheap continuous hinge screws, so I ended up final-seating them all by hand. There were a lot of screws.

    Folding outfeed table completed!

That is a lot of acreage!

Plenty of miter clearance, and the fence travels smooth as butter. I was able to align the fence to the miter slot and the blade to the slot within .003 of an inch. Pretty good for a badly abused saw.

The saw is useable with the outfeed extension folded down. I was able to bend most of the case back into it's near original position, but I still have about 3/4" of an inch of lean from left to right. The feet are long enough to support it without resting on the wood, but I felt it was a bit wobbly that way.

Everything folded up for travel. I have to lift up slightly on the right side to not drag the corner of the folding outfeed table. I could probably get the lift I need by adjusting the right-hand castors to give me a little more room in the down position, but that can be a job for my brother-in-law.

I sincerely hope he gets as much use and joy out of this saw as I did.

Thanks for anyone who can help!

If you just keep folding those sections, it looks like it will end up small enough to fit in your pocket

Awesome piece of hardware ... BinL is getting a great tool.

That's the saw you're giving to your BIL!?! You're a good man! You do nice work. I like the table extentions.

I'd help just cause I know what a heavy beast the contractor saw is as I've loaded one in and out of my truck many times. But, I'm a little too far away right now.

I really like your nifty table setup.
