The saw is useable with the outfeed extension folded down. I was able to bend most of the case back into it's near original position, but I still have about 3/4" of an inch of lean from left to right. The feet are long enough to support it without resting on the wood, but I felt it was a bit wobbly that way.





Everything folded up for travel. I have to lift up slightly on the right side to not drag the corner of the folding outfeed table. I could probably get the lift I need by adjusting the right-hand castors to give me a little more room in the down position, but that can be a job for my brother-in-law.

I sincerely hope he gets as much use and joy out of this saw as I did.
