I joined awhile back and have replied to a couple of posts but haven't actually posted a new thread until now I think. I've been into guns for as long as I can remember. Mostly hunting paper targets until about 3 years ago. I bought my first and only AR-15 style MSR in 2011 M&P 15 Sport without knowing a thing about them. Since then I've been buying and assembling AR's from the lowers up. You know, buy high, shoot it for awhile, sell low and then repeat.
About a month ago I jumped into a LR-308 (again not knowing about them, impulse buy) not knowing all of the compatibility issues in changing things. About the same time I bought the M&P 15, I purchased a RCBS progressive press (again not knowing squat about reloading, see a pattern?) and started loading for 45ACP, 223REM, eventually 300 Blackout and now 308WIN.
