Monday night Pin Shoot @ Bristle Cone shooting.

sportbikeco came out and cleaned up the 5:00 match.
I shot embarrassingly poor at the 7:00, but sportbikeco was still winning when I left.

Congrats sportbikeco! Did you pull it off for the 7:00 as well?

Last night (5:00) was the first time shooting pins in about 2 months. there are a lot more good shooters then a few months ago. Got knocked on my 3rd match and I think it may have been Irving who eliminated me. Taller fellow w a go pro on his head ?

Admittedly I kind of got bored with it a couple of months ago as well. I shot in 5 matches, won 3 and took 4th in the other 2. I guess it ran it's course with me.

There were a couple of USPSA guys there that were absolutely jaw droppingly fast.

Yes they were Irvimg. One dude just plowed the pins over after missing a few shots. Was a sight to see. However, they too choked at some point. That's what makes the pin shooting fun. Even the heroes crap the bed sometimes. Maybe see ya there next week. Sometimes the shooting is secondary to the comradrie and trash taking fun !

I won't be there next week. I usually only get to go to Bristlecone when I'm off work. I have this whole week off, so I was able to make it out.

I could easily see how sneakerd was getting bored (especially if winning). I get to go so rarely that that hasn't set in yet.

There is room in both matches tonight. Word is people are getting sick of the same people winning all the time. Anyone want to go down and try to shake things up with me tonight?

When i'm feeling up to it and can grab a ride. I'll resolve that problem Now that my LW 9mm barrel is back, maybe that might make the trip.

Alright, I'm tired of trying to edit this video. I'll just leave all the tags off of it.

Here is a free lesson in inconsistency. Round 3 was the best, but the rest of the time I was struggling to get my rhythm and go slow enough to pay attention to what I was doing.

Colorider, I'm not sure which round was against you, probably round 4. On Round 1 you can see me stop shooting. The trigger locked up. I think my thumb started to engage the safety.

Basically, all three rounds I won were because I got lucky.
