They made an update to the game last week and I'm super pleased. Now if you are holster qualified @ Bristlecone you can draw from the holster and shoot your pins as opposed to starting in the compressed high ready.

Handicap still applies and you may be drawing against someone who isn't. Makes the game more fun, for me at least, and this is a welcome addition.

I thought they should do that as well.

I'll be there tonight, for fun. 115 grain on a 9mm so I'll be happy if I at least knock some pins down! Wearing a maroon hoodie so feel free to introduce yourself.

I re-read this whole thread before going and was under the impression if I didn't have 147 grain or hollow point I'd be screwed. Not the case. If you've been on the fence about checking it out, I'd say just sign up. So many skill levels, everyone was welcoming, fast paced, and it's super fun.

There is nothing wrong with 115 with solid hits, 124 and 147 just take them down a bit better, especially with flat points.

What Irving said. Put your shots where they need to be and a 22 will knock them over. The 124 and up just helps propel them off the table better. Nothing worse than a table full of pins laying on their side.

I think I'll shoot the next one with my .460. Hopefully that will knock them over...
