What guns are most people shooting at these matches, I would guess more pistols than revolvers.

The crowd is very non judgmental on performance. You will however be giving a world of crap for safety infractions.
i haven't seen any revolvers as of yet. If say 50/50 1911 verses your other semi autos. You're limited to 10 rounds in a magazine, 2 magazines including the one in the gun.
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.
Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you.
I have seen a few revolvers. One kid had some badass chiapa. Seems most are shooting 40 or 45. A few with 9mm. Bring what ya have. 9mm minimum. It's a total kick in the butt even if you have only shot paper. My only experience was shooting paper and I took 5th place the 1st night. With a sub compact 40s/w. There is a lot of fun comraderie. Join the fun.
Me and 2 other dudes shoot 9mm and it moves the pins fine, but you have to be more accurate. The 45 cal is prob the best for sending the pins off the table, but I'm not adding another gun to my collection at the moment. Pins do funny things. Flop over, go flying , spin, just tip over,,, all depends on shot placement.
It is great practice and fun. Some great shooters fall to pieces once on the line under the stress of "winning".
