Its a pretty good time. The double elimination is great. Dont be a sandbagger! I think everyone who has done it more than twice should be a Yellow, at least.

yea, what he said !! Last weeks winner at the 5;00 KNEW he had no competition to shoot against. He is an amazing shooter and was shooting his competition race gun. Optic and all. Prior weeks, he shot a different gun which handicapped him enough to level the playing field for him. Guess he decided to show us how good he is with his super mega pistol. And he did. Cleared pins line a bulldozer. If he does it again, I'm assuming other shooters will say something. Not sure. He did not break any rules, but pretty much left a lot of other shooters with the feeling he was not being very sportsman like. He should be shooting more pins at a farther distance. Which is not really doable with the time and format. We shall see what the next weeks bring. If this winner is a member here, bring your "other" gun next time. Everyone likes it better and it is better competition. Can't believe it is "fun" knowing nobody can come close to beating ya.
A few weeks ago a few sandbaggers won 1st and 2nd. Have not seen them since. They kind of got the stink eye from everybody.
Many new and old shooters move themselves up a level knowing they need to be handicapped. I did it and I'm not even that good. Went from 4 pins to 5 because I thought it was more fair. And I lose, but I get more pins to shoot at. More pins= more shooting and more fun. In my mind. It's a TON of fun and I don't like the sandbaggers or the ringers ruining it for everyone. Not fun for a new 3 pin shooter to go against the guy who does not miss and clears pins like a bulldozer.
Seriously, he didn't miss 1 pin all night and swept them with a speed I have never seen there before. It was impressive, but also a bummer.

There has been a lot of interest and excitement over the bowling pin shoot, but I think they need to change something or the sportsmanship issues are going to ruin it.
Totally agree. I'm sure they will change things up as it grows. Its a learning experience for them and everyone else.
I've been there each of the last 3 Mondays. 7pm last Monday, was 4th. A week ago won the 7pm and 2 weeks ago won the 5pm. Kind of hooked, but the spacegun old guy I saw at the 5pm shoot 2 days ago can't be beaten by anyone I've seen there the last 3 weeks. Too much gun, too good a shooter.
No fun winning without competition. But maybe he's in it for the gift card, 12 bucks to snag a 50$ gift card...

It was actually a drag watching spacegun guy mow 'em down. Nobody else even had a chance.. The guy who won the 7pm had a big mag funnel Glock .40 with an RMR. It almost sells me on the RMR. I knew on his first match that he was faster then me. I'm shooting an iron sight 1911.

Sounds like we need another table @ 15 yards.

Maybe restrict it to iron sights, or have a separate class for the optics guys.
