My very first Webley revolver that I purchased (I was underaged at the time and so had to have my Mother with me) was a Webley Mark 1 (Marked on the top strap indicating use by the Royal Navy)
I still own it.
The example shown in the pictures appears to be a commercially sold revolver (based on the metal finish and lack of British Military markings).
The Mark 1 comes from the era of black powder revolver cartridges, I would not shoot any modern ammo thru it.
I already made that mistake many, many years ago!
Webleys are very collectible, the grips and that seem to be exceptional as the hard rubber usually shrinks and cracks a chunk where the crosspin fits into them.
