Bailey your a good man. I have had several shelter / abused dogs and they all need a lot more care and understanding then any other type of dog. I can only imagine what your house is like with 3 JRT's! My one JRT is enough, of course my wife would like a puppy. They are awesome, smart, protective and STUBBURN dogs but I wouldn't trade ours in. As for liking him if he was a human, all I can say is I bet he would be the funniest asshole ever (next to dear ol dad)

Yeah...I love Jacks. They're too smart...and stubborn...for their own good sometimes. Smarter than a lot of people I've run into.

The owner of my JRT got rid of him because he didn't get along with others, could have fooled me. Don't get me wrong he hates cats and squirrels but he gets along with his brothers. Btw Jack/Corgi mix has an interesting attitude in a dog.

Yeah...my female Jack (Lola) "loves" cats and squirrels. She got hold of a feral cat last year...pretty ugly way to go for the cat. She hasn't managed to catch a squirrel yet...but it isn't for lack of effort.
I love Corgis. I had a rescue Corgi for 3 years. She was 6 when I got her and she'd lived her entire life in a cage at the home of a "breeder" who was in reality just a hoarder. I brought her home and she didn't even know how to walk on grass. She was terrified of everything. Inside of a year her life was completely turned around and she was one of the happiest dogs I've ever seen. She died from kidney failure just before she turned 10. But the last few years of her life were happy.

Ive got a great pyr who thinks hes a toy poodle. Nothing like a 100 pound dog that wants to sit in your lap. I dont know what he would be like as a person, but he would have made a great toy poodle.
My Jack was a rescue and had personality issues because of it. I think as a person he would be ok, kind of like living with Rain Man. I never knew a dog could be that smart. He always hung out were he could see me but not bug me. But when he saw the wife coming home he would come and get me to come with him to the door because he knew we were both going to get fed. He could recognize her car coming at least two blocks away. He loved the car ride home from the rescue but never wanted to be in a car again. I always believed he thought if he got in the car we were taking him back to the rescue to leave him. In the end he had health issues. We spent close to 9K at the vet to keep him alive, and I would spend three times that much right now to have him back.
