    Default No D-Day thread?

Let's honor their sacrifice by never letting socialism get that powerful again. That is all.

Yes! Let's reflect on their efforts and their sacrifice, and make sure it wasn't in vain.

Was going to start a thread, but I'll put it here....

Had the humbling opportunity to board the USS Missouri and see the Arizona Memorial on Tuesday. Very hard to put into words. A lot of goose bumps that day.

Our family thanks each and every service member that has ever served and continues to serve. The brave fallen will always be remembered.

Truly a Day that changed history. A simple thanks is not adequate enough to honor their heroism and sacrifice. We must never forget and continue to pay tribute and honor to their remembrance.

Prayers for them and their sacrifice to freedom for all the world.

When I was growing up the men and women that that I encountered at the store, in school, the postman and the janitor, the motorcycle hooligan and the librarian, the cop and the priest, my aunts, uncles, cousins and my father, these men and women were for the most part veterans of WWI, WWII and Korea. These are the people that I learned my base values from and even though I may have strayed from them in my younger days, those are the values that always brought me back to the right course. Truth, fairness, compassion and stand up to evil, fight for what is right.

I will be forever greatfull and they have given me a debt that I cannot ever repay even though I try my best every day.

God bless them and their families, may we never forget them.

Where did that thread go with the boy standing on the beach in Normandy? Can't find it with anything that I'm searching for... Another good reason to put detailed descriptions in thread titles and when posting videos. Any help?
