Default New Law Will Making Schools Liable For Violence

So now shouldn't the schools hire armed peeps, or train teachers?
If it were me i would to help with those rising insurance costs.
They are limited to 900k I hear.

They'll just have students sign waivers releasing liability.
I can't imagine a school having under $900,000 of any king of coverage, let alone liability.

Some Co school districts do allow teachers/staff to carry, Briggsdale for instance, most of the colleges in Co allow guns on campus http://www.armedcampuses.org/colorado/ even CU Boulder. Nationwide 18 states allow teachers/staff to carry http://blogs.findlaw.com/blotter/201...n-schools.html

Laws aside the school district, H.S Middle school what ever it's called should be held liable. They suspend or expel kids who make a gun with their hand or pop tart (in 3rd / 4th grade) Yet allow serious issues go unchecked, in the name of protecting their sports programs. Columbine being one of them. I'll save my Rant for another time.

The point of the law is not to increase responsibility and liability for schools, the point of the law is to LIMIT liability to only 300k per dead child.

I also suspect its a pretext for preventing the elimination of stupid "zero tolerance" policies.

it also puts them on notice that reporting Not hiding issues with "trouble students" like they did in littleton doesn't happen. The PS system seems to think they can cover up issues within the system . Then IF something happens act like No One knew ANYTHING like this would happen. Even though student X was suspended X times for bullying, had X teachers voice their concern over student & teacher safety etc. Littleton SD did everything they could to prevent info on that shooter becoming public info.

This will do wonders for the non-conformist or otherwise odd kids ... the administrators will HAVE to criminalize "difference" just to protect themselves legally.

    Forced conformity! Yay!
