    Wow, how the time does fly by. Exactly sixty (60) years ago TODAY, I joined the U.S. Army for a three year stretch..
    I am starting to believe the Army was somewhat tougher back in the 50's.

    Wait. if you served from 55-58 that was about the time Elvis was serving too!

    Thanks guys. I'll hit 79 later this year and my serious goal is to get to 85 and still be able to do all my daily routine stuff without help from anyone. Also to still have decent brain activity as well as normal eyesight, acceptable hearing and all that stuff. Oh, and be able to still drive our vehicle in a very SAFE manner,
    Now my concern is, will my ancient old body still be able to safely fire my .50BMG bolt action single shot without punishjing me too dang much.
