You must not have a garden.

If I'm ever at a party and the cops come to arrest people. Ill blindfold myself, throw the ball gag in, handcuff my hands, and hide in a closet. Police never arrest hostages!

If you live west of Wilson, you're definitely in rattlesnake country.

I live just east of Wilson in Emerald Glen and they found a dead fox in our greenbelt area last year. I think my neighbors thought I had something to do with the death, but the "authorities" (whoever that means--this was passed on to me by my neighbors) determined that the fox died due to a rattlesnake bite. This was during the time Xcel was digging things up for the new gas line on the west side of Wilson. The theory was that all that construction stirred up the snakes.

Snakes, rabbits, foxes, coyote, bears... It's a jungle up here!
My parents just had a fox die in their backyard in Highlands Ranch. Nobody would come and look at it or try to help it or dispose of it. I saw it the day before it hid in their backyard to die, and it looked real bad. No hair, was out in the middle of the day rubbing up against things trying to itch itself... Im guessing it got a bad squirrel or bad rabbit. Another reason why we should get to dispose of these as we deem necessary.

West of Wilson we are. Our neighborhood made the Denver Post a few years back when they ran a story about rattlers in neighborhoods. Our neighborhood all the way up here made the Denver Post if that gives you any idea. Even after all the construction was done in this neighborhood we found a 3.5' rattler sunning itself in our neighbor's front yard in the middle of the neighborhood. I even posted up signs telling people not to encourage the rabbits because while they were cute and harmless (if you don't have any plants/flowers) their babies were a favorite of the rattle snakes and for the safety of our pets/children it was to everyone's best interest to not feed them. People actually tore down my signs and put up signs about saving the bunnies. Unreal.
