Go with a heavier pellet to keep it sub sonic. Jsb heavies work great in most guns.

My father-in-law swears by his pellet gun. He makes his shots from indoors. He only shoots once and makes it count. But for what it's worth, he lives in southern Illinois. I reckon the laws there are a little different.
Perfect time to get a suppressor. Or cci quiets both are quieter then most pellet guns
You sir, are a specialist in the art of discovering a welcoming outcome of a particular situation....not a mechanic.
My feedback add 11-12 ish before the great servpocaylpse of 2012
I have seen a pellet gun in my life time and squirrels fall from our trees. Not sure why, maybe they are eating fermented nuts and fall on their little fragile necks. Neighbors hear and see nothing ....... so did the tree fall in the woods?

I use beeman 22 they stay sub sonic.
I hate the bird feeder vandals, they drive me nuts. My Daisy Powerline will dispatch them just fine, but my concern is that some yuppie or kid in my neighborhood would see one flopping around in my yard after I popped it, and then the po-po's gonna come, and grief will be visited upon me. I have no idea where you live, but I'd recommend caution about shooting them with anything. I'd hate for someone to go thru hell because of a friggin' skwerl.
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!
