Are the people on "alone" unarmed?
On the history channel the show about a bunch of dudes in the the North East, are they unarmed?
Would you go into Black and Grizzly bear country unarmed for a chance at 500,000?
I live in bear county. I walk out to my vehicle every day unarmed.

To each their own, I won't walk to the crapper unarmed, but that's just me, maybe I'm paranoid or something...
From what I gathered they were saying, they are mostly unarmed. I did see a bow, but most of the others only appeared to have knives. In that terrain and with the types of animals around, I believe I would have made a crude spear/walking stick pretty soon. I know it isn't the smartest to poke a bear with a stick, but I'd rather do that than poke him with a knife.
For half a million? Yep. Make it a full million and I'd probably do it naked.
