    Default Class 3 state?

A friend of mine said that you can purchase a nfa item here in CO but cannot use it in this state. Given everything is done through the ATF and legal. Ie: trust, llc, papers. I disagree. Can someone clear this up for me. Sbr's and cans are in my future.

Your friend is an idiot. And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Colorado allows the legal ownership and use of NFA items (SBRs, supressors, select fire, etc.) You can even apply for an explosives permit.

Your friend may not be an idiot, but he has certainly been misinformed. In Washington, you can own a suppressor, but can't use it in the state. Owners go across the border into Oregon to use them. (it might be the other way around, but I know it is those two states).

Thanks guys. He is a smart guy, maybe just confused his states. He lives in WA, that right there could explain it.
