Found just a couple of miles from me. Lone Tree PD not giving up much info right now but I saw the missing person alerts last night after midnight before turning in.

This is bizarre. I was reading comments on the link on Facebook. Someone said she lived across the street from her and the lady was always out playing with the kids and what not. Also read that it was initially reported as gun shot wounds as cause of death but haven't seen any other confirmation. Very odd and sad, no matter how this plays out.

If it is a murder suicide, what can bring you to the point of taking your childrens lifes. Very sad hopefully the father can deal with the loss of his kids.

Very sad to have something like that happen in our community. Can't imagine how someone could get to the point where killing their kids even remotely crosses their minds . . . how bad could things possibly have been?

I've read some filicide studies, and parents/step-parents kill around 300 children age 6 and under each year with their bare hands. I can't imagine the mental state it takes to do that to your own child.
