    Default What to look for on a used Toyota tundra

    First...this isn't for me! My brother in law has been knocked out many times fighting mma so he naturally wants a Toyota. I don't have any experience and am curious what to look for to help him out.

    How many owners? Former Rental fleet or private purchase? Any documentation. I know with less than 50-60K IF i was selling it. There would be paperwork for any repairs & maintenance done.

    I have an '04. Good truck.

    There was a recall on brakes for mine. I don't know if it included that year, too, but it wouldn't hurt to check the recall history and make sure everything has been done. Mine seems to thrive on mild neglect. It eats tires, but that's my only complaint.
