I got the MPX stock direct from Sig about 2 months ago. Someone told me they had them in stock for 15% off, and I was able to snag one.

The issue is that the charging handle is loose in the upper, and as a result, chips away at the finish of the upper reciever. There are some pictures in various places around the web that show significant damage to peoples uppers. Sig CS hasnt been responding in a very satisfactory way, stating its "normal wear".

Sig has some serious issues with their rifles. I have no idea what is going on with them? The last 3-4 rifles they have produced have all had more issues then they should. I made the mistake of buying a 556xi R. It's already been back to Sig and I am still skeptical about it. I got the "that's normal" on a lot of issues with the rifle that are far from normal. Seems like they just slap something together and put it to market without thorough testing.
