Smaller gun may fit well in the Remora as well.

I've tried to pocket carry a few things, keltecs, XDs, shield, kahr. Only one that really worked for me was a 340pd airweight. It's light enough it doesnt bounce around too bad in big short pockets, and small enough to fit in Jean pockets too. The cylinder isn't even noticeable for me

The CM9 is shorter for sure. Almost as tall in the grip area though. That's where I have the most trouble sticking it in my pocket.

I pocket carry my p238 all the time. Great little gun. Shit , I throw it in my pocket even to check the mail. If the 380 is too anemic there is the 938 as well. Gets a smidge heavier though. If your pants are baggy it might bounce on your leg alittle , that's it. I forget mine is there sometimes.

I pocket carry a S&W Bodyguard 380 with no issues at all. That's a great little gun. I have shot the ruger and the kel tec and the bodyguard is my personal favorite among the 3. Good sights, safety if you should prefer to use one and the best grip of the bunch IMO.

PS - Plus the BG 380 is just about the best bang for your buck you can get in a 380. Real sights and a laser for under $400, can't beat it.

My wife has a BG 380. I LOVE it! I may buy one for myself to carry from time to time. It is double action only which is nice if you have the heeby jeebies about carrying with a round in the chamber. She has other solutions for carrying this because women's jeans' pockets really are not friendly toward pocket carry.

For 9mm, my current thinking is the CM9/PM9 are the best current choices for pocket carry. Lots of good 360s though - LCP, P380, P238, P3AT, etc. The diagram above did a good job of showing the differences in silhouette among the common blasters - clearly the CM9/PM9 are the shortest in height (grip/frame/slide) than the others shown. A remora/CM9 combo is hard to beat.

I have to agree with the p238 advice. I don't actually like using my pockets for anything other than keys and change but the p238 fits pretty well.

The P238 is good but a little heavy for pocket but it works.
